A little about me...

Hello!

My name is Mrs. Hodgson and I am the Learning Support Teacher for 5th-6th grades this year.  I look forward to working diligently with your students to help them reach their individual goals; and value the opportunity I have to help them improve academically, socially, and behaviorally.  I have a jar in my room filled with marbles (180 for each school day).  This is a visual reminder for us to make every marble (day) count! Our time together is precious so I try to encourage and inspire my students to utilize every second of the school day to the best of their ability!   

A Little About Me…

I have over 20 years experience working as both a teacher and mother; and absolutely love helping others!  I will do my best to ensure that your children receive the supports and services needed this school year; to better prepare them for their future. I have three children of my own ages 21, 18, and 15.  Parenting has taught me many things, but especially that all children are unique and require different approaches to learning.  This is especially evident when any diagnosis or challenges are involved (as my own children have experienced over the past several years). I will be your students' biggest advocate, just as I am for my own children!

I am always available to communicate with you regarding your child's education.  Please feel free to call or email me anytime you may have questions and/or concerns and I will be sure to respond in a timely manner.  I have been the parent on the other end...and I can appreciate how important communication is when it comes to your child's education and experience at school. I am looking forward to an exciting and productive year as we partner together for your child!
