About this program

Write, Track, Grow is an internal California Area School District platform where district teachers submit evidence of student work. This text messaging program lets a teacher send that evidence by text message instead of uploading it through the website, and lets the platform reply with confirmations and follow-up questions.

 

The program is offered by California Area School District and is available only to district employees. It is not open to the general public, to students, or to families. The District does not buy, rent, or import phone numbers from any outside source.

How to sign up

Sign in to Write, Track, Grow with your district credentials, go to Profile → Text Message Settings, enter your own mobile number, and check the consent box. The box is not checked by default, and your number is not saved unless you check it.

 

The consent box reads:

 

Yes, text me at this number. I agree to receive text messages from California Area School District's Write, Track, Grow platform about the student work evidence I submit, including confirmations and replies. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. See our Text Messaging Terms and Privacy Policy.

 

Once you save, you will receive a single confirmation text. No other messages are sent before that point.

What you will receive

Messages confirming evidence you submitted, replies asking you to identify a student or resubmit an unclear photo, and occasional service notices about the platform. California Area School District does not send marketing, promotional, or fundraising messages through this program.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on how often you choose to submit evidence. Most messages you receive are direct replies to a message you sent.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. The District does not charge for this service; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message to end all messages from this program. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that. You can also uncheck the consent box in your Write, Track, Grow profile at any time. To start again, check the box again or reply START.

Reply HELP to any message for a short reply with contact information, or contact the District at 724-785-5800 or [support email].

Carriers and delivery

Message delivery is not guaranteed. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If your phone number changes or is reassigned, notify the District so messages are not sent to the wrong person.

Privacy

Information collected through this program is handled as described in the California Area School District Privacy Policy, under the section titled "Text messaging (Write, Track, Grow)."

Changes to these terms

California Area School District may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
