•  Mrs. Nicholson, M.Ed    3rd Grade    Room 312nicholsonh@calsd.org Welcome! This is the 18th year of teaching third grade at California Elementary School for Mrs. Nicholson. She spent 3 years prior to that as a substitute teacher. Mrs. Nicholson is proud that she is a California Area School District graduate spending her entire K-12 experience here. Her father was also a teacher here and many of you would have had him as your Librarian if you came through our district! Mrs. Nicholson attended Mount Union College in Alliance, OH. At Mount Union, she earned her degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. Mrs. Nicholson has a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from The American College of Education. Third grade is a very exciting grade! Mrs. Nicholson is proud to have a Promethean Board in her room! This is an interactive white board that with a touch of a pen, the entire internet/world is opened up to our classroom! She is very excited to do great things this year with this technology. Mrs. Nicholson is also associated with California University as a cooperating teacher in their student teaching program. This is a great experience to be able to give back and see some new and fresh ideas! See you soon! Keep stopping back to see what is happening in our pond!!!
