• Jerianne Larson is the Band Director for grades 5-12 and the General Music Teacher for grades K-4. She is also the director for the California "Trojan" Marching Band, High School Jazz Band, and the Spring Musical. 
    Ms. Larson is a 2013 graduate of Westminster College (PA) where she received her Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in Music Education, as well as being a 2017 graduate of Messiah College (PA) where she received her Master of Music (MM) degree in Wind Conducting. 
    Outside of her work at California Area School District, Ms. Larson is a member of the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds and Sinfonia, where she plays clarinet, and she runs a private woodwind studio. She also enjoys musicals, hiking, being outdoors, and exploring the city. 

    Professional Statement: 

    I am eager to provide students a solid background in instrumental and general music by imploring key musical aspects that are necessary to the profession. I am dedicated to enthusiastic and dynamic teaching as a means of creating and nurturing a lifelong love of musical knowledge in students.
