  • DRAMA CLUB-- Rehearsals for  week of 1/30 -- M, T, W, Th: 3:00 - 6:00 Everyone; Fri: open for soloists (big people) 2:45-4:00; Sat: assume Dance 9-12, Set Construction 12-6:00. Week of 2/6 -- M, T: Act I 3:00-6:00 Everyone; W & Th: Act II 3:00-6:00 Everyone; Fri: Open for soloists or troublespots 2:45-4:00. Sat: Assume Dance 9-12 & Set 12-6:00. Week of 2/13 -- assume stay until 8:00. Week of 2/20 -- assume stay till 9:00 (Children possibly released at 7:00). Dress Rehearsals will be 2/25, 2/27 & 2/28 Everyone.  We do rehearse on in-service after school and probably President's Day.

  • Representatives from the California School District recently met with a group of leaders from California University of PA’s College of Education and Human Services to begin a professional development school project. The professional development school relationship establishes a close partnership between the School District and University that benefits all stakeholders.     The California Area School District Foundation is offering a free athletic pass for the 2011 - 2012 school year to anyone who joins as a lifetime member for $50 or makes a $50 donation to the Foundation.  These passes are available from Mary Bastin in the superintendent's office. All checks should be made payable to: CALSDF.  This could prove to be a great savings for parents that have multiple children playing in multiple sports.  The California Area School District thanks you for your support of our organization.  All proceeds from this will go to benefit your children
